ON A PERSONAL NOTE…

Obviously, a photographer brings pieces of themselves into creating work for others. My work has changed in so many ways since the beginning of my career. I started shooting weddings as a newlywed in 2009. I was swept up by the romance, the beauty, the fun of it all. I loved making pretty pictures of people in love.

As we started our family, my eyes and creative soul have expanded and taken on new roles. I still connect very much with the heart of a bride, but I connect to other familial roles now as well. I'm the mother of the bride, the mother of the groom, the sister, the sister in law, and the mother in law now too. The whole experience is so much more full to me and I'm so happy to say that it is resonating in my work.

My daughter, Harper, is 4. My son, Jayson, is almost 2. I've been married to my husband Brock for ten years now. Their presence in my life reflects in all that I do.
